This video demonstrates how to use manual tools to apply waterproof adhesive to GPS ankle monitor. This method can achieve IP68 waterproofing. Steps as follows.
Step 1. Remove the screws from the back cover.
Step 2. Remove the back cover.
Step 3. Using a manual glue gun, apply adhesive to the adhesive groove. The adhesive must completely and uniformly fill the entire groove, leaving no gaps or uncoated sections.
Step 4. Cover and press the back cover tightly, allowing the adhesive to fill the contact surface between the back cover and the adhesive groove.
Step 5. Tighten the screws on the back cover.
Step 6. Wipe off the spilled adhesive.
If you do not want the wearer to attempt to open the back cover screws, you can use adhesive to seal the back cover screws.
Wipe off the adhesive overflowing from the screws on the back cover.
Step 7. To avoid the overflow adhesive sticking to the lock buckle, please press and release the lock buckle to allow it to rebound and make sure it is movable.
Step 8. Leave it for 20 hours until the adhesive solidifies and dries, then the sealing operation is completed.
